She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad Wilson Estes and Helen Glazner Estes; her husband James Hiram Adams; her sons, James Adams and Coy Adams; and her siblings, Thad W. Estes, Jr., Mark Estes, Mike Estes, Betty Taylor and Ann Hutchins.
She is survived by: her son William Jeffery "Jeff" Adams (Melissa) of Macon; her daughter-in-law Cindy Adams of Milledgeville; and her siblings, Joe Estes of Milledgeville, Nancy Godbee of Milledgeville, Nellie Adams of Milledgeville, Sally Smith of Milledgeville and Bonnie Hutto of Augusta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
