She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Ford and Cleo Ford; and her former husband Bruce Grimes. She is survived by: her husband Jim Purcell of Milledgeville; her children, Wendy Grimes Little (Eric) of Eatonton and Erik Grimes (Amanda) of Morris; her sister Joyce Carmichael of St. Petersburg, FL; and her grandchildren, Ainsley Grimes, MaryClaire Grimes, Willow Grimes and Elin Little. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moores Funeral Home (301 S Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Moores Funeral Home & Crematory (301 S Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
