She is survived by: her parents, Everett Cason and Carolyn Cason; her husband Calvin Brooks; her daughter Merrie Collins (Kevin); her siblings, Rosemary Tribble of Carnesville and Bill Cason (Mabrey) of Sapphire Valley, NC; her grandchildren, Branan Dennard (Christina), Ashley Foster (Ben), Lauryn Baugh (Nolan), Jessica Dabbs (Will), Rhett Collins (Christa) and Katie Collins; and her great grandchildren, Noah Dabbs, Cason Anne Dabbs, Lucas Dennard and Anna Claire Baugh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
