She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kitchens and Sallie Williams Kitchens; her husband Wendell William Oakes (Bo); and her daughter Sherrie Lynn Oakes. She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Elizabeth Oakes of Milledgeville and Tara Oakes Pickett (Mark Chapman) of Lake Oconee, GA; her grandchild Jaime Elizabeth Lanthrip of Milledgeville; her children, Amanda Pickett Smith (Ashley) of Milledgeville, Emma Kay English (Adam) of Macon, Brandy Pridgen Harrison (Jacob) of Milledgeville, William Randall Oakes Jr. "Will" (Karen) of Milledgeville, Anna Jane Oakes (Jacob Tanner) of Milledgeville and Elijah James Oakes of Milledgeville; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.
