He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Bender (Kim); and his father Dale O'Brien Bender. He is survived by: his wife Paula Shuster Bender of Milledgeville, Georgia; his son Jeffrey Bender (Natasha) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Layne (Eric) of Ohio, Jack Bender of Ohio, Emma Bender of Ohio and Natalie Bender of Ohio; his brothers, John Bender and Gary Bender of Connecticut; his mother Marilyn Green Bender of Connecticut; and his friends, JC, Dale, Marty, Joe and Russell.
