He is survived by: his wife Janice Smith Cartwright; his children, Kala Cunard, John Michael Cunard of Macon, Attorneys Waye and Lauren Cartwright of Chamblee; his mother Grace Cartwright Wheeler of Midway; his sisters-in-law, Mark Cartwright of Midway and Ruby Cartwright of Richmond Hill; his nieces and nephews, Stanley Smith, Laura Smith of Milan, Taylor Smith and Ellie Smith; and also Scarlett Cartwright of Midway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
