She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Augustus Cook, Sr. and Amy Lila Herring Cook of Milan, Georgia.. She is survived by: her children, Amy Wheeler (Daniel) and Andrew Bennett (Emily); her grandchildren, Cole Wheeler, Andrew, Allison, Molly and Matthew Bennett; and her brother Harry Augustus Cook, Jr. (Gail).

The family welcomes donations to the National Kidney Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
