She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scott and Eula Mae Scott. She is survived by: her husband Mark Cartwright; her birth mother Ruth Britt; her sons, Scott Thomas Eason (Lora) and Joshua Sterling Eason (Kim); her stepson Daniel Justin Cartwright (Victoria); and her siblings, Samantha Bennett (Donnie), Chris Thompson (Melanie), William Thompson, Jr. (Kimberly) and Patrick Thompson (Heather). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ferguson Baptist Church (10050 Ferguson Ave, Savannah, GA 31406).
