We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2022, at the age of 71, Sam Gorden of Midway, Georgia, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Gorden and Verda Mae Gorden; and his daughters, Samantha Gorden Smith and Sabrina Gorden Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gorden; his children, Stacia R. Gorden and Shawn R. Gorden; and his sisters, Connie Gorden, Pam Gorden, Sandra Gorden and Deb Lille (Jeff). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Sam for the St. Anne Church or Martha Mary Chapel Building Fund.
