He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Green (Alice) and Eleanor "Gracie" Gaskins; his grandparents, Ambrose "Amos" and Ada J. Gaskins; his stepmother Alice Green; and his brothers, Isaac Gaskins, Jewel Gaskins and Eugene Gaskins Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Bambie, Colonel Eddie (Retired), Elisha Gaskins of Valdosta, GA and Ralph L. E. Gaskins Jr. of Midway, GA; his grandchildren, Jermaine, Jeremy, Justin, Janecia, Jaelin (DeAndre) and Jaleah; his great grandchildren, Jermyah, Justice, Brandon, Mila, So'Leiah and Dezmund; his close friend Gabrielle Brown; and his nephew Eugene Gaskins Jr.. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
