It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Pope (Midway, Georgia), born in Woodstock, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Butterworth and Lillie Tumlin Butterworth; her husband Calvin Pope; her children, Denise Hooks, Kenny Williams and Teresa Stigall (Russ); her son-in-law Jim Hooks; her grandchildren, Ryan Hooks (Brooke), Jamie Miller (Seth), Brittany Dilmore (Josh) and Dustin Stigall; her great grandchildren, Mikaiah, Khloe, Kaydence and Kensley; her stepdaughters, Diane Bryant, Cheryl McKenzie (Mike) and Lori Yeager; her stepgrandchildren, Stacie, Melissa and Jamie; her stepgreat-grandchild Meghan; her nephew Troy (Darlene); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianne and Amanda.
She battled Alzheimer's but remained a sweetheart until the end.
