She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnson and Lela Johnson; her husband Deacon Isaiah James; her son Victor James; and her brother Robert Johnson Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Josephine Johnson of Midway, GA, Sharron James Cook (Samuel) of Midland, GA, Shelia James of Dallas, GA and Brandie James of Midway, GA; and her friend Nell Poston. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dorchester Funeral Home (7842 E Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, GA 31320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Community Church of Christ (1140 Holmestown Rd, Midway, GA 31320). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the same location.
