She is survived by: her children, Evangelist Gloria Simmons, Deborah Bacon, Janice Bland (Thurman Thomas) of Fayetteville, Georgia and Verdell Jones (Randolph Jones, Jr.) of Midway, Georgia.; her siblings, Simon Lee (Darlene) of Mobile, Alabama and Byrdell Clark of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Kimberly Greene (Everett), Andrew Bland Jr. (Montrey), Steffan E Bacon, Stacy James (Tim), Nakia Albro, Demetrius Bland, Shayla Parker (Dominick), Tyra Albro, Tajana Jones, Rashad Albro, Anthony Bacon, Jr., Octavia Bacon, Rocquis Martin and Cadence Bland-Thomas; her granddaughter-in-law Mariel Bacon; and her goddaughter Rose Ferdinand. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Even in the post-pandemic era, she continued to nourish her spirit by tuning into church services on her iPad every Sunday morning, showcasing her unwavering commitment to her faith in God.
