She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones, Sr. and Annie P. Johnson; and her husband Johnny Alvin (Bundy). She is survived by: her children, Santell Mings (Lennon) of Amarillo, TX, Sean Walthour (Tawanna) of Midway, GA and Samekeil Walthour (LaShondra) of Hinesville, GA; her stepchildren, Johnny Alvin, Jr. of Brunswick, GA, DeWayne Alvin of Brunswick, GA, Tameka Jones (Elijah) of Brunswick, GA and Manieka Palmer (Cedric) of Brunswick, GA; her brothers, Timothy Jones of Monrovia, CA and Ricky Jones of Hinesville, GA; her cousin Michael Johnson; her close friends, Catherine Spencer and Rena Anderson; and her children, Keith and Cassundra Thornton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dorchester Funeral Home (7842 E Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, GA 31320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
