It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Wilds of Midway, Georgia, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Robertson, Sr. and Ophelia Varnedoe Clark. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Alvin (Anthony), Karen Henderson (Oscar), Patricia Daniels, Glenda Roberts (Ulysses) and Cleveland Wilds (LaRue); her grandchildren, Christopher Morrison, Dominique Daniels, Cody Wilds, Ethan Wilds (Amaya), Darien Wilds and Logan Wilds; her siblings, Melvin Robertson, Jr., Billy Robertson, Roy Robertson (Bobbie Jean), Pearl Robertson, Benjamin Robertson, John Robertson, Frances Robertson, Fred Robertson (Grace), Carl Robertson, Craig Robertson, Frank Robertson, Jannie Robertson, Tara Robertson (Anthony), Carolyn Melbourne (Randy) and Denise Madison; her stepmother Julia Mae Robertson; her aunts and uncles, George Varnedoe, Sr., Ozetta Jackson, Earline Martin, Mabel Ellison, Sammie Joe Varnedoe, Clarence Varnedoe and Gail Varnedoe; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Wilds, Shirley Williams and Carolyn Edmondson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
