He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hitchcock and Frances Powell Hitchcock; his brother Edward Powell Hitchcock; his brother-in-law Bobby Jean Brinkley; and his niece Sandra Brinkley.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Hitchcock; his siblings-in-law, Phillip Brinkley (Jane), Alvie Brinkley (Alice), Barbara Hitchcock and Lynda Poole (Donald); and his nieces and nephews, Allison Stitt (Joe), Kristi Nichols (Drew), Carol Hawk (Brian), Kim Teesateskie (Gary), Angela Arne, Tracy Wilson (David), Theresa Howard (Jerome), Tammy Bailey (Eric), Susan Brinkley, Phil Brinkley (Maria), AJ Brinkley (Cindy) and Marc Hitchcock. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and friends.
