He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Huffman, Sr. and Velva Lorena Wright Huffman; and his siblings, Debbie Johnson, Virginia Styniach and Ron Huffman.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Creek Huffman; his children, Tonya Kerins and John Huffman; his siblings, Nita Carol Baker and Frank Huffman; his stepbrother Jimmy Glass; his stepfather Jerry Dobbs; and his grandchildren, Alania and Brady Kerins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
