He is survived by: his sons, Chris Berry of Savannah Ga and Deondre "DJ" Canady of Hinesville Ga; his wife Bennie Robinson of North Carolina; his siblings, Damita Swanigan (Stanley) of St. Louis, IL, Marchelle Hill (James) of Hinesville Ga, Barbara Shuemake (Larry) of Virginia Beach, Betty Ross (William) of Bristol Fl and Otis Canady 3rd of Toccoa Ga; his aunt Pearl Boykin (Thomas) of Swainsboro Ga; his uncles, Martin Spikes Sr. of Virginia, Barnes Remington of Decatur, Raymond Spikes of Texas and Chester Lee Barrett of Midway Ga; and his nieces and nephews, Marichelle, Capricia, Brandy, Yolanda, Shaniqua, Oteasa, Alexis, Jonas Jr., Antwon, Larry, Juan, Demetrius, Darrick, Tevin and Amarious. He is also survived by grand nieces, nephews, family and friends.
