It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Mae Washington of Midway, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlean Golden and William Varnedoe Jr.; and her siblings, Isaac Henry Golden Jr., Mary Alice Varnedoe, William Varnedoe III and Lucy McNeil.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lakeeta Adams (Shannon) of Schertz, TX and Niayma Dunn (Keonna) of Converse, TX; her grandchildren, Jayvenn Adams and Ally Adams; her siblings, Margie Stevens (Karlwin) of Brooklyn, NY, Frednell Walthour (Calvin) of Midway, GA and Harold Varnedoe of Midway, GA; and her stepmother Lizzie Mae Varnedoe of Midway.
