He was predeceased by: his father Michael Johnson; and his grandparents, Marvin Johnson, Mary Laura Palmer, Clifford Claxton and Juanita Claxton.
He is survived by: his mother Gail Claxton Johnson of Midville; and his brother Brett Johnson of Midville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of his father, Michael Johnson.
