It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawton Henry of Midville, Georgia, born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Henry and Clara Fagler Henry; and his siblings, Charles Henry, Adelle Archer and Clara Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Henry of Midville; his son Ray Henry (Caryn); his stepgrandchildren, Richard Hassinger of Athens and Amanda Hassinger of Monroe; and his sisters, Juanita Kersey of Port Wentworth and Joyce Grant of Swainsboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
