He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon DeLeon Welch Sr. and Sadie Wilson; his wives, Dianne Wyndham Welch and Lizzie Welch; and his daughter Misty Welch.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin D. Welch of Summertown and Jamee Welch of Swainsboro; his sister Linda Causey of Columbus, SC; and his grandchildren, Ashley Lee Welch, Misty Renee Welch and Julia Welch. He is also survived by great- grandchildren, 3; many friends.
