We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Robert J. Vekasy Sr. (Midland, Georgia), born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vekasy and Anna Muris Vekasy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Howe Vekasy of Midland, GA; his children, Shari Ann McNiff (Thomas Edward McNiff, III) of Gastonia, NC, Denise Marie Fortson (William "Bill" Fortson) of Midland, GA and Robert John Vekasy, Jr. (Dara) of Cumming, GA; his brother Stephen Vekasy of East Greenwich, RI; his grandchildren, Cameron, Jake, Casey, Regan, Shane, Sam (Carolyn), Sarah Kate (Matt), Christopher and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Georgia and Maisie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Stewart Community Home, P.O. Box 4279 Columbus, GA 31904.
