He is survived by: his mother Bobbie Brim Croney; his wife JoAnn Thomas Croney; his children, Gregory Croney, Nokomis Croney III, Debra Croney Gibson, Sandra Croney Mitchell (Samuel Mitchell) and Sabrina Croney Jordan; his stepchildren, Ashley Gordon and Stephanie Greene (Travis Greene); and his siblings, Sammie Croney Sr., Marjorie C. Cotton (Phillip Cotton), Bobbie Oxodine-Hutchins (Thomas Hutchins) and Minnie C. Meriwether (Thomas Meriwether). He is also survived by five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
