He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sheldon Whitton; his children, Kenneth Whitton, Jr., Melissa Whitton and Debra Whitton; his granddaughter Ariana Whitton; and his sister Jean W. Ingram. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
