He is survived by: his wife Marie Hudson Ford; his son James Roy Ford III (Jim); his brothers, Thomas Edwin Ford (Rita) of Pace and Phillip Lee Ford (Susan) of Warm Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Carle'Ford, Jacob Ford and Landon Ford; and his great grandchildren, Carolina Knight, Bentlee Knight, River Ford and Jaxson Ford. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
