He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Gladys Snellgrove Cole; his son Ron Cole; and his grandson J. C. Cole. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cole of Midland; his children, Sam Cole of Columbus, Darrell Cole of Columbus and Georgia; his sister Sandra (Fred Haymaker); his grandchildren, Samuel Cole and Lindsey Childers; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, Houston, Mikenzie, Blair and Braxton.
