He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl Gast and Frances Judy Gast. He is survived by: his significant other Deborah Braun of Metter; his children, Adam Gast of Coco and Erin Leigh Googe (Tony) of Glenwood; his siblings, Marlene Gast of Alabama, Paul Gast (Laura) of Metter and Jonathan Gast (Lori) of Merritt Island; his grandson Chandler Alan Edwards (Rachael) of North Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Elana, Grayson, Walker, Rider and Dallas Edwards.
