He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl Gast and Frances Judy Gast. He is survived by: his children, Erin Leigh Googe (Tony) of Glenwood and Adam Gast of Cocoa; his siblings, Marlene Gast of Alabama, Paul Gast (Laura) of Metter and Jonathan Gast (Lori) of Merritt Island; his grandson Chandler Alan Edwards (Rachael) of North Carolina; his great grandchildren, Elana, Grayson, Walker, Rider and Dallas Edwards; his nieces, Sara Wadell (John), Melissa Goodman (Justin) and Ashley Gast; and his nephew Matthew Gast (Shasta).
