She was predeceased by: her parents, Minerva Fletcher and Marion Fletcher. She is survived by: her sisters, Gladys Summerlin, Hilda Carlson and Sybil Viens; her husband Eugene F. Smith Sr. (Jeff) of Simon's Island; and her children, Eugene F. Smith (Bubba), Michael Smith, Joseph Smith (Kyle) and Karen Morgenroth. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, she was simply Nana.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (800 N Broad St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Waters Church of God (785 N Lewis St, Metter, GA 30439).
