She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Rocker, Jr. and Margaret Bland Rocker; and her sister Judy Rocker. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lanier of Metter; her children, Sonya Lanier Durrence (Kyle) of Reidsville and Reggie Lanier (Mandy) of Metter; her grandchildren, Bethany Taylor (Austin), Walker Lanier, Bailey McCumber (Harley), Blake Lanier and Brynn Cobb (Luke); and her great grandchild Phoebe Kate Taylor. She is also survived by her great grandmother.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Homes ~ Hooks Chapel (223 SW Broad St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Metter First Baptist Church (50 S Rountree St, Metter, GA 30439).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
