He is survived by: his wife Kay Strange Lovett of Metter; his daughter Amanda Lovett Vernon (Dustin) of Metter; his grandchildren, GraceAnna Vernon of Metter and Caelan Vernon of Metter; and his sister Julia Hiers (Wendell) of Waycross. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
