He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Wilkerson, Sr. and Beola Henry Wilkerson; his grandparents, Maggie Henry (Parrish), Earnest Henry, Realia Wilkerson (Culbreath) and Shepherd Wilkerson; and his siblings, Claude Wilkerson, Virginia Wilkerson Mincey, Nellie Wilkerson Hart and Susie Wilkerson Collins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Wilkerson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ray C. Wilkerson of Statesboro, Wallace Wilkerson of Macon, Maggie Wilkerson, April Wilkerson of Macon, Sherry Parra and Charlene Wilkerson of Metter; his sister-in-law Jewel Wilkerson of Pooler; his aunts, Mildred H. Grant and Amy W. Henry of Metter; and his great-aunt Mary Alice Ellis of Metter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (25 N Kennedy St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
