We bid farewell to Donna Porter (Metter, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Donna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father J. L. Johnson; her husband Lewis Porter; and her nephew Tad Giles. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Turner Johnson; her sister Debra Moyers (D. L.); her children, Jeremy Porter, Tiffany Tucker (Troy) and Hollie Edenfield (Brad); and her granddaughters, Anniston Porter, Ayle Jae Porter and Kate Edenfield. She is also survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Metter Methodist Church (30 W Lillian St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Metter Methodist Church or Bridges of Hope (71 South Stuckey Church Road, Alamo, GA 3041) in Donna's memory.
