Bobbie Faye Simerson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Faye Simerson (Metter, Georgia), who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Bryant and Blonnie Bryant of Emanuel County, Georgia.; her former husband D. Coursey; her grandson Adam Bryant Holland; her great grandchildren, Breanna Belle, Madison Delaney Hendrix and Harrison Jude Hadden; and her siblings, Vertie Mae Daniels, Ray and J. W. Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Everett Simerson; her children, Michael Coursey (Christy) of Metter, Mark Coursey (Scarlett) of Wrightsville, GA, Wanda Kennedy (Danny) of Metter, Patricia Hendrix (Cliff) of Metter and Alanda Sikes (Swinton) of Metter; and her sister Martha Sue Bolin (Joe) of Moultrie, Georgia.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 10 stepchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wood Funeral Home (800 S E Broad St, Metter, GA 30439). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cool Springs Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to Action Pack, Candler County or Ogeechee Area Hospice, in Statesboro in memory of Mrs. Bobbie Faye Simerson.
