He was predeceased by: his parents, Kennon Tyre, Sr. and Vera Cliett Tyre; and his brother Johnny Tyre. He is survived by: his children, Kennon Tyre, III (Jeris) of Patterson, Tracie Tyre Johnson (David) of Blackshear and Janice Tyre of Nicholls; his grandchildren, Jake Tyre, Emma Tyre, Mabrie Johnson and Will Lawton Johnson; his brother Cleve Tyre (Jan) of Douglas; and his sister-in-law Gwen Tyre. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
