With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannine Mattox McFadyen of Mershon, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph P. Clark and Everlean Spradley Clark; her children, Stan Mattox and Connie Marie Randall; and her sister Alice Mullis.
She is survived by: her husband Ian G. McFadyen of Mershon; her sons, Sands Mattox (Wendy) of Waycross and Clark Mattox of Blackshear; her daughter-in-law Kim Mattox of Waycross; her siblings, Ruth Beezley of Statesboro, Bobbie Howard of Blackshear and Joe; her sister-in-law Nell Clark of Blackshear; and her grandchildren, Caleb Mattox (Marty) of Waynesville, NC, Whitney Bennett (Kennith) of Clyo, Brandon Mancil of Patterson, Josie-Tatum Mattox of Macon, Ellie Mattox of Milledgeville, Drew Mattox of Blackshear, Zeke Mattox of Blackshear, Carter Mattox of Blackshear, Samantha Strickland of Pooler, Spencer Randall of Chicago and Trey Randall of Chicago. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
