It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Faye Carter of Mershon, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norwood Flowers and Clara George Flowers; and her husband Charles William "C. W.". She is survived by: her sisters, Virginia Parra and Sarah Coley; her children, Dr. Charles William Carter, III of Rome, GA. and Rita Hayes (Perry) of Jesup; her grandchildren, Brandi Kelly (Kenn) and Jason Hayes (Lena) of Jesup; her great grandchildren, Hannah and Elijah Kelly of Jesup; and her siblings, Paul Flowers (Marjorie) of St. Simons Island, Douglas Flowers of Alma, Carson Flowers (Lajuan) and Betty Landon of Jesup.
