He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Buckins and Hazel Purvis Buckins; his wife Linda Sue Barnes Buckins; his son Austin Humphries; and his brother Harold Buckins.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Joe Humphries (Kimberlea), Kira Johnson (Cory) and Lindsey Gilby; and his siblings, Ronnie Buckins (Deborah), Johnny Buckins and Patricia Martin (Tony). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
