Charlotte Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Smith of Mershon, Georgia, born in Patterson, Georgia, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dorsey Bennett, Sr. and Georgie Griner Bennett; her granddaughter Beth Ann Raulerson; her brother-in-law Billy Ritch; and her nieces, Julie Ritch, Beth Bennett and Georgiann Bennett.

She is survived by: her husband Windell Smith of Mershon; her children, Kathy Paul (David) of Mershon and Kenny Smith (Melanie) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Jeb Raulerson of Blackshear, Peyton Smith (Brooke) of Zebulon, NC, Kennedy Smith of Greensboro, NC and Logan Paul of Statesboro; her great grandchild Rhett Raulerson; and her siblings, Jackie Ritch of Mershon and Hugh Bennett, Jr. (Genelda) of Mershon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
