We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Sammy Ballard of Menlo, Georgia, born in Trion, Georgia. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eugene "Gene" Ballard and Darnelle Tucker Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hall Ballard; his children, Scott Ballard (Nikki) and Kathy Cooper (Tony "Hoopie"); his siblings, Don Ballard (Betty), Tommy Ballard (Siggie) and Ann Ballard Willis; his grandchildren, Braxton Ballard, Anaston Ballard, Isabella Cooper, Samuel Cooper, Daniel Cooper and JohnLuke Cooper; and his close friend Paul Clayton (Jeanette). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The Ballard family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
