She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladston "Datch" Dempsey and Annie Ruth Lawson Dempsey; her siblings, Gerald Dempsey and O'Bera Keen; and her son-in-law David Langston, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Emmaus "Lee" Majors; her son Terry; her daughter-in-law Patti Majors; her daughters, Elaine (Malcom Birge) and Connie (Brent Bentley); and her sister-in-law Jo Ann Dempsey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
