It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Smith of Menlo, Georgia, born in Dunlap, Tennessee, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Madison Ewton and Ruth Cunningham Ewton; her husband J. P. Smith; and her siblings, Anna Lee Harmon, Lorene Evans, Mildred Ammons, Evelyn Wilkes and Charles Ewton.

She is survived by: her sister Gertrude Narramore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
