With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Childers of Menlo, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2020 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Overton and Lula Mae Sanders Overton; and her husband J. R. Childers. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Huskey, Angie Mann and Shelia Glenn; and her brother Jimmy Overton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held privately. The Childers family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
