He was predeceased by: his father Roy "Shorty" Lawson; his wife Sonja Bragg Lawson; and his sister Sara Lawson Head. He is survived by: his son Brad Lawson; his grandsons, Ben Lawson and Luke Lawson; and his nieces, Karen Head and Diana Head Ferrell. He is also survived by his family and friends.
