She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Dewey and Rosa Barwick Monroe. She is survived by: her husband Freddie Boxxe of Meldrim; and her siblings, Geraldine Mitchell of Ellabell, Ray (Sue Monroe) and Billy (Virginia Monroe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
