She was predeceased by: her father Walter Butler; her former husband Alton L. Scott; and her daughter Jennifer Lyn Scott. She is survived by: her husband Pete Smith; her daughters, Rachael (Scott Dudley) and Nancy (Kenny Poole); her mother Mildred Newman; her grandchildren, Caroline, Casey Crosby, Matthew, Kelsie Dudley, Andy, Amber Poole, D. J. Poole, Shelby Poole, Charly Poole and Ransom Poole; and her sister Gwen Kaiser. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
