He is survived by: his children, Kay Riley (Richard), Bernie Jarriel, Jr. (Tammy) and Kristina Scott (Chris); and his siblings, Joyce Kessler, Carleen Alford and Keith Jarriel. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
