It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris (Dot) Stanaland of Meigs, Georgia, born in Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lawrence and Claudia Palmer Lawrence; her husband Hugh Gene Stanaland; and her siblings, Helen Luke, Emily Barlow and Bud Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Hugh Gene Stanaland (Buddy), Gina Stanaland and Keith Stanaland (Jessi); her grandchildren, Zach Stanaland, David Martin (Melinda), Deohn Martin, Dallas Aldridge and Autumn Martin; her great great grandchildren, Justin Clayton, Tanner Clayton, Austin Martin, Amber Martin and Reagan Martin; and her niece Donna Deirso (John).
