He is survived by: his wife Marie NeSmith Hall of Meigs; his son Donald Lanis Hall Jr. "Donnie" of Prague; and his siblings, Harold Hall of Ashburn and Virginia Hall Bowen of Cordele. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
