She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jackson Allen, Jr. and Betty Joe Prince Marshall; her husband Carson Barfield; and her siblings, Joe Allen, Walter Earl Allen and Millie Cross.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Bostwick (Roy Wilson); her sister Janet Dorminey (David); and also, Beth Curby, Stephen "Casey" Allen, Catherine, Danny Arrington, Toni, Roman Harrison, Tessa Wilson, J'Mario Walker and Johnny Cross. She is also survived by 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; 1 great-great-nephew; and numerous extended family members and friends.
